G C alarms were established in 1986 and achieved enrolment with
Security Systems and the Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) in 1996
we have recently been certificated by UKAS for installation, Corrective
and preventative maintenance of intruder Alarm Systems in accordance
with the requirements of the ACPO/ABI sector scheme. We have a current
customer base of approximate 500 commercial and domestic Intruder
Alarm systems. We offer a wide range of systems from bells only
domestic alarm systems to commercial control station monitored CCTV
Systems. We connect all our monitored systems to one of the largest
nacoss approved Central Stations.

About SSAIB
The
Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) was founded
in 1994 and is a non-profit making company, limited by guarantee,
governed by an independent board. The board includes representatives
from various interest groups, with no one group predominating. Board
members to not receive remuneration.
The
board currently includes, representatives from the following organizations:

•Association of Chief Police Officers (Scotland)
•Association of Security Consultants
•Department of trade and industry
•Electrical Contractors Association
•Federation of Small Businesses
•Institute of trading Standards
•Master locksmiths Association
•Metropolitan Police
•Security Industry Training Board
The
SSAIB was established to promote and encourage high standards of
ethics, service and equipment to the advantage of hirers and users
of Security Systems (Intruder Alarms, CCTV systems and Access Control
Systems and Alarm Receiving Centers) against defective installation
and equipment.
The
SSAIB requires recognized firms to comply with Criteria for Recognition
designed to ensure the probity and competence of recognized firms.
Compliance
with the criteria is enforced by inspection at regular intervals
not exceeding 12 months.
Firms
complying with the criteria are included on a Registered of Recognized
firms which is published and made available to police and insures.
